Our Technology

Dentistry has come a long way, and so have we. At Central Kentucky Dentistry, you’ll find advanced technology that makes treatments quicker, safer, and more comfortable.

From same-day crowns to 3D imaging, our tools take the guesswork out of care, invite informed decision-making, and help you feel confident in every decision about your smile.

What We Offer

3D X-Ray Imaging (CBCT)

Our CBCT scanner provides a highly detailed, 3D view of your head, neck, and jaw. It’s especially valuable for dental implant planning, diagnosing complex concerns, and detecting hidden issues such as bone loss or pathology.

With these crystal-clear images, we can plan treatments with greater precision and confidence.

CEREC® Primescan and Milling Machine

CEREC® technology allows us to create and place custom crowns in just one appointment. Using a digital scan of your tooth, our in-office milling unit crafts a ceramic crown that looks natural, feels comfortable, and resists plaque.

Computers and Digital Records

Our computer system streamlines everything from treatment planning to payment options. With digital records, we ensure accuracy, security, and quick access to the most up-to-date information. This makes your visits smoother and allows us to focus more on your care, not paperwork.

Deep Teeth Bleaching

For patients with stubborn stains or teeth that haven’t responded well to whitening in the past, we offer deep bleaching. The system combines an in-office light treatment with custom trays for at-home use, delivering brighter, longer-lasting results.

Digital Radiography (X-Rays)

Digital X-rays use up to 90% less radiation than traditional film while producing sharper, more detailed images. We can zoom in, display them in color, and show you exactly what we see, making it easier to understand your diagnosis.

Digital radiography is also environmentally friendly, eliminating the need for chemical processing.

Diode Laser

Our diode laser is an advanced tool we use for both restorative treatments and periodontal (gum) care. It allows us to reshape soft tissue, reduce bacteria, and speed up healing—all with less discomfort compared to traditional methods.

Intra-Oral Camera

Sometimes it helps to see what we see. With our intra-oral camera, we can capture high-quality photos of your teeth and gums and display them on a monitor. The magnified view makes it easier for you to understand your dental health and actively participate in your treatment decisions.

Panorex Imaging

A Panorex scan gives us a panoramic view of your mouth, jaw, and surrounding structures. It helps us spot issues like infections, cysts, or tumors and provides valuable information about bone health. While it shows less detail than smaller X-rays, it gives a much broader picture of your oral health.

Sedation Dentistry Monitoring

For patients receiving sedation, safety is our top priority. We use the latest monitoring technology during your visit so you can relax comfortably, knowing you’re in good hands.
